Take the Green line (M1) from Victoria to Omonia and change to the Red line (M2) from there until Metaxourgio. The entrance of the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel is right outside the Metro station entrance.

Walking to the event from the University is also a viable option. It is a 1.6 km distance and a 23 minute walk.

To walk to the Gala:

• Once you exit the main entrance of the University, turn left onto 28is Oktovriou (Patision) toward Antoniadou.
• Walk along 28is Oktovriou for 550 m, then turn right onto Marni.
• Walk for another 700 m and continue straight onto Karolou until you reach Karaiskaki.
• Turn left following the round-about and exit onto Deligiorgi, turning right onto Alexandrou.
• Walking along Alexandrou your destination should be on your right in about 70m.

You can either wave down a taxi, or book one that will take you straight to the Gala Event with ease. The journey should cost anything between 4.50 and 8 EUR, but prices vary based on traffic and policies/booking fees if the taxi is booked through a service.
